Marco Rubio Gets the MSM Treatment

Fearless warrior. Unhinged zealot. Doomed martyr.

Those are three of the categories the St. Pete Times' Adam Smith (with a little help from his friends at the Herald) is trying to place Marco Rubio in. Nice, right?

Poor Marco. He's not "reasonably moderate" like our good Governor Crist, say the MSM. Of course, it's perfectly OK for Barack Obama to not be a moderate (he had the Senate's most liberal record) because he's, after all, a LIBERAL. To the MSM, Barack is right down Flagler Street.

Remember. The MSM does not have a liberal bias. Remember. The MSM does not have a liberal bias. Repeat it enough and you too may end up believing it.

Robert did you close the comments in the " Brutal pompons" post?

Do I smell censorship, just like the grandfather blog

and many others cuban bloggers aka Granma

No, Fantomas. You had two comments in which you decided to harp on an issue that had nothing to do with the pompons that flew around the stadium. This after the post in which I criticized the radio person for making a stupid comment about the "banana republic". Then you decide to go that same route. What do you expect me to do?

If you want to address Miami's Banana Republic issues, do so on your own blog, or respond to a post in which I SPECIFICALLY address that as a primary or key issue. There's also an e-mail address on the right-hand side where you can send me your complaints about Banana Republic flies getting in your food.

As administrator of the blog, I can decide whether to end comments on a particular post when I feel it's getting away from the topic. I haven't done a good job of this in the past, but it's something that has and should be done from time to time. I don't have the time to respond to off-topic comments that are also senseless, I imagine our readers don't want to waste their time reading it, either.

BTW, the above applies to this post too.

If you want to behave like the granma thugs thats ok by me

It is your blog after all

But please do not tell me what I can or can't write on any given post

On topic or off topic, it is still a comment

I know what censorship is all about becuse I lived it , did you experience it on your own skin? or did you read about it

I'm glad that he seems to be determined to fight for it ... He's a very qualified fiscal conservative! I wish him luck!

I wish you well :) Melek
